Although I was told years ago by a friend of mine who worked at a nuclear plant near Dallas that the facilities are designed to withstand a 747 crashing into them, they built a nuclear plant east of my city that was to have become operational in 1980 but protests post-Three-Mile Island were so vocal it was converted into coal. Well in 2012 a tornado hit the plant dead-on, bullseye. That made everyone think....hmm, what if?

We invented the Atom Bomb too-every one is scared of it-only happened twice. Ya can't go through life living in a past that will never come back. Every one wants America to be  the  all powerfull USA! that it was. But the truth is-it's NOT that anymore-and that's why Trump Amrerica is a dying dinosaur. It's a BRAVE NEW WORLD. We have to adjust.

ER- We all have to get along-we all live her. THAT aint gonna change.
Those same miners can be taught the skills to work at power plants. AND not die from busting there asses in mines and black lung diasese.

I'll admit the thought of a bunch of Texans running a nuclear power plant is scary.

The doctor that circumcised Trump threw away the wrong piece.

HEY!!!!   :teddyr:
That plant is run by the same guys that build the A&M bonfire tower - er, um, I mean . . .

Oh well, it hasn't leaked yet, at least! LOL

Fearing Texans shows wisdom. I'm only an honorary Texan and heck I'm scared of myself. Texans make good friends and terrible enemies, though most tend to be forgiving.

I live about thirty kilometers from the Pelindaba nuclear power station: that's why most of the peeps in Pretoria have blond eyes and blue hair  :buggedout:
