I always thought the Oscars were boring until I saw this video.

I'm actually excited to watch them now in the hopes that they're a total, hillarious, trainwreck like last year's. The fact that Suicide Squad won an Oscar is proof that they're nothing but a joke.

I lost respect for the oscars when I realized a real SF movie would never win a non technical award.

I began totally ignoring them when Jesse Jackson basically  shook down the Oscars with a pretty open threat of consequences if blacks didn't win that year.

I gave up and went to bed. It was about as entertaining as Ben Stein giving a lecture on photosynthesis.

Nothing makes me scream like a monkey and throw my poop against the wall like the Oscars. Its just horrible. The most pretentious, self-centered people virtue signaling and giving themselves awards.

"Look at me, Im so surprised that I won an award, again for 15th time. Look at my dress, it cost more than your house. To show my solidarity with poor disadvantaged people, I had a tiny little note that I wrote sewn into it. Its so small that only I can see it. When I accept an award, I shall deliver a speech so moving, so utterly profound that it will be endlessly replayed and studied. I will speak of politics, the state of the world, quantum physics and sh*t. I will speak for those who do not have a voice. I gave up even paying attention to the Oscars, when I realized the members are mimes trying to find their way out of their little boxes, as they seldom pick the atypical over the typical. That was true when they picked that typical song from Tangled over the more atypical (IMHO) "I Have a Dream." And it continued this year when they picked that song from Coco, even if it won the Oscar for Best Song over the more atypical "Un Poco Loco."
