  i know how you feel indi, kansas is in major drought mode again. i'm with RC in that i hate snow,
but we really need the moisture,we're already dealing with grass fires.

I've lived here in NE Texas my entire life (other than 4 years in the Navy), and I have seen exactly ONE white Christmas.

woke up to plenty of snow this morning. Apparently we had a blizzard of sorts last night. It was friggin cold yesterday, like -10 C.

Spring is almost upon us. A time of rebirth and growth. Its still cold off and on with a nice temperate day every now and then, Oh, looking forward to those perfect sunny days. Feeling the urge to get out and do something, anything, as long as its outside. Got to enjoy it while you can, before it gets too damned hot and you are really angry because you have sweaty balls, waiting for the cold weather to come back. Its usually around this time that I wonder where the hell did all of these people come from? They come out like roaches. Everywhere. Aimless and without purpose. I would like to throw poppers at them, "you will come out no more", to quote a wise man.

This a year of change. For better or worse, Everything will change this year. Not just politically, but socially, economically, and spiritually. The signs are everywhere. You can feel it. Where is it going? Lots of people claim to know. Lots of negative outlooks. Seems that people want things to go to hell, just so they can say that they told you so. The end has always been near. The bubbles going to burst and the sea levels are going to rise and a giant rock is going to fall on us. Blah blah blah. Any day, now. Yes, the stock market will go down. Do you know why? Because it went up. That's what it does.

Oh, and if some dolphins have to die for me to have a tuna sandwich, so be it. Or, how about a dolphin sandwich? Lets save the tuna, they have been through enough. Or better yet, Panda sandwiches! They would be much more adorable as a sandwich. Maybe then, we could use bamboo for something more important, like furniture. There are many 3rd  world countries that don't have access to stylish bamboo bar stools.
