Started watching this, but I've been finding it very slow moving (although well acted and so on). Just wondering if anyone else has seen it, and if it is worth while continuing on watching or not?

Watchable, although I could never really get past Jack Nicholson's Midwestern accent.

I read the book it was based off of.  And yes...it took a looonnnnggg time to get going.  I didn't care for it.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

The book is nothing but fantastic. The TV series is... a good try. It falls short compared to the source material, but I really can't be mad at them, because they made a good effort.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.
