I was always kind of surprised we never got a movie spin-off of later Trek TV series such as DS9 or Voyager..

With all the superhero stuff on the go nowadays, kinda surprising Legion of Super-Heroes hasn't come around as of yet

They also did a number of Batman vs. Predator comic series..

I've always wanted to Gamera vs. Godzilla but as two different companies have rights it probably won't happen anytime soon...

Yeah. That gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. It was kinda like...."Finally!"

I kinda wish Marvel would do this guy....

The story of a roguish vagabond and his adventures and misadventures in the Caribbean, Europe, South America, etc. during the 1st 2 decades of the 20th century. Based upon a series of Italian comic books.

Corto Maltese

While there was an animated TV series on French TV in 2002, there never has been a live action film.

And maybe not surprised, but interesting, that both C. B. de Mille and John Ford, who were on opposite sides of the political spectrum, both wanted to do a film on Lord Baden Powell, the founder of the worldwide scouting movement. Both died ere the film could be made.

Then if John Ford had lived even longer, he wanted to make a film version of Sir Arthur Conan's Doyle "The White Company," which is about a band of British mercenaries in France and England during the 100 Years War. And what makes it more interesting, he wanted Sir Alec Guinness, Lord Laurence Olivier, and John "the Duke" Wayne to appear in the film.

Some of the country & western songs of the 1970s that somehow got turned into TV movies sort of have me wondering how the narrative works of Harry Chapin & Jim Groce didn't get picked up & stretched out by some greedy corporate executive...

Given the utter obsession with zombies and comic heroes I'm amazed we haven't seem "Zombieman!" yet...

I thought that character was Nikos The Impaler from the German film Violent Sh-t.

Morbius, the Living Vampire. He was quite popular in Marvel Comics in the 70's.

I'm surprised that there isn't a whole series of films based on Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos.
Given the right director-or directors- that would be fantastic. IF they can manage to do it right. I've yet to see a half-way good Lovecraft film adaption. (I really don't count the Herbert West films...they have about as much in common with Lovecraft as FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE SPACE MONSTER has to do with Shelly.)

Being as taking old TV shows, that were meant to be serious ,into goofy movies are a thing Hollywood has ass-f**ked us with for the last 10 years, that we haven't been cursed with a KOLCHAK, the NIGHT STALKER movie, starring some jerk-off like John C. Reilly in the lead.

The HPLHS have done The Call Of Cthulhu and Whisperers In The Dark that I thought were decent. I'd love to see Del Toro finally get At The Mountains Of Madness off the ground, but am resigned to it not happening.
