Been on a big SLAYER kick this week --even tho they've never been one of my favorite bands. I don't DIS-like them but outside of the triad of Hell Awaits/Reign in Blood/Seasons in the Abyss I can take or leave most of their stuff. However, we're having our first big heat wave of the summer and these hellish temperatures demand equally hellish music.  :teddyr:

I've mainly been discovering, or should I say, RE-discovering, their World Painted Blood album --which I bought as a new release back in 2010 but never listened to much, so it's been like hearing it for the first time. Turns out it's a pretty badass disc, I don't know why it never clicked with me when it was current.
