Good morning, world.

I hope the day treats all of you kindly. I hope that, if you are working today, your work is fun and meaningful, and that if you are off, that you are able to do something you enjoy. I hope your loved ones are safe, well, and happy. I hope you have enough to eat. I hope you can keep out of the summer heat - unless you enjoy being in it. Most of all, I hope you feel the smile of God on your life today.

Well, a sick cat i love may survive, the vet says. despite the financial devastation I am happy for that. So I'm glad for the blessings of modern medical veterinary science.

Having been to Ireland, both northern Ireland and the Irish Republic, a number of times in my life, (IMHO) the Irish say it best.
