Caffeine

Caffeine in the morning is usually a Monster Rehab or a Monster Java, since I can't drink hot stuff without getting heartburn. And I will drink hot coffee/hot tea before I drink something from Starbucks.

RC- that was one of the concerns I had with stopping. with the moderated decaf its the same.

ER- I was drinking it was a misguided attempt to jazz up the topic.

In my first college go around I consumed way too many energy drinks like Red Bull just because there was so many things I needed to get done for my final semester during the last 2 months. All were purchased on campus. I also bought coffee from a machine on campus too.

These days I usually only have 1 or 2 cups of coffee in the morning and I'm good.

Don't encourage it.  

When my God put me together, He put in one strange thing: I have to have a cup of coffee BEFORE I go to bed at night. I sleep quite well. 

It must be that "brown water" that doesn't have enough caffeine to keep you up.  Perhaps your small portion at bed time is healthy, cleaning your pipes and helping your heart do its work.
