Waiting here for my friend to catch up with me after we left where we were earlier at the same time having spent the evening playing this incredibly addictive and weird card game I had never heard of called The Mind. It's the oddest game ever.....like....it is secretly boosting our latent ESP. Totally strange game. Oh, okay, she's here. Gonna talk in the car a few minutes before heading home.

As a neutral observer, why are some people mad that YouTube, Spotify,, Apple removed Alex Jones stuff? He spouted conspiracy theories, I mean he said that Sandy Hook was a hoax until recently.

I honestly don't know.  One of my FB friends was screaming about the death of the First Amendment, and I had to quote it verbatim and explain that, while Jones is absolutely free to spout his hateful nonsense, no private business is required to give him a platform on their network.

One of my bosses listens to Rysh Limbaugh. This got me thinking, is Alex Jones and his minions too inept to try private radio?

Advertisers are too scared of Jones.  It's one thing to be hyperpartisan, like Limbaugh and Hannity.
But when you start saying our government stages mass shootings, that's loony land.
It makes people very angry, and your audience of followers is much, much smaller than the number of people you are going to offend.

Unfortunately too many people do not quite grasp the true meaning of free speech, its implications and especially the responsibilities that go with it.

Got my tickets to see John Carpenter live last night. Kristi had wanted to go see Little Shop Of Horrors live the same night, but we talked about it and she decided that given Carpenters age we were a lot more likely to have more chances to see Little Shop in the future compared to him doing another tour.

My boss has decided that there is going to be a word of the day and that you have to insert it into as many conversations as possible. Todays word is hypoxia.

So far my 'I used to have a really strangely named girlfriend. When I saw her on the street it to shout "Hi Poxia!"' is winning.

Jones was making clear death threats to a federal prosecutor and calling him a pedophile.  Mueller could and hopefully will file a slander suit against him for that.  His platforms don't want to gert sued too. 

BTW the new thing for the far right to do is claim all Democrats are pedophiles now since this 'q' thing came along. I hope there are some monstrous lawsuits filed for slander and incitement to violence.
