Pacman000

That sounds like an early 80's arcade game.

(Actually, there was an arcade game called Astro Fighter: https://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=6947)

Blastfighter (1984)

I bought a DVD-R copy of this several years ago. The movie doesn't contain nearly enough blasting or fighting.

yeah it starts off like it will, then it turns into some protracted and emotional father/daughter bonding type movie after about 20 mins.

I had no idea that where were so many Rambo rip-offs way back then. I'm not that surprised at that, but I'm astonished by the sheer number of rip offs movies there are.
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I worked in a video rental store during the RAMBO craze. Some of the rip-offs were:

1. Older movies that they released on video with new box covers
2. Movies that were NOTHING like Rambo - - they just arbitrarily put a guy holding a machine gun on the box cover
