Kind of what to get your guys' opinion about this.

!

The comments below the video seem to be people mostly tearing apart this guys arguments, but I actually agree with him on a lot of stuff.  Particularly about someone doing something stupid in a movie.  I can admit in my own life I've done something only to afterwards realized I should have done it another way or done something completely different.

Also that plenty of movies do explain themselves and people just don't understand it or choose to ignore it for the sake of complaining.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Plot? One of my favorite movies of all time is BRIDE OF THE MONSTER (1955).
I don't need no stinkin' plot.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Porn proves that plot is totally superfluous to a movie, going as it does from setup to climactic resolution with no story in between. Brilliant stuff, really. And great satirical titles too like As I Lay Diane and My Own Private Idahole and Saving Ryan's Privates.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

Well-I don't need to add to that!  :drink:

Currently fighting the urge to make a post pointing out just how important plot... holes are in porn.

Yes, the word 'hole' in the title was what inspired me.

Funny. I just saw this video. It was completely insufferable and strawmans the hell out of people that complain about inconsistencies in plots.
I refuse to say that a film with a thousand plotholes and lazy writing is on par with films that actually try their hardest to be logically consistent.
When people act unrealistically stupid they cease to be human in my view. Instead of humanity I just see the script and it can kill immersion.

If I really like something I'm willing to look past the plot holes no matter how much they bother me. But when I'm just constantly questioning why
characters are acting unbelievably stupidly then it can completely ruin the film for me.

Still, this guys arguments were terribly planned out and he was completely unfunny to boot. That actually hurt to watch.
