What's crazy is this actually NOT the first time something like this has happened.  I remember reading months ago about people who were trying to smuggle cocaine by placing it into carved out pineapples. 

As for how/when they ended up in this particular shipment bound to a freaking prison, no one knows.

When I worked at Honee Bear, we would have outdated rusty cans of fruit in the warehouse-I wouldn't feed it to my dog. It was YEARS old. It went to prisons. They ain't usually gonna sort threw that nasty s**t unless it's dripping slime and crawling with maggots. And lotsa the s**t we shipped out was. It made me sick.
