War heroes "white man mural" offends someone

Every age is an age of ignorance, but I am not sure ignorance has ever had the voice it does today or felt quite the same level of self-entitlement, or shown such smug disrespect to others.

Maybe an antidote to that is to note that one pastor in Harlem, New York, James Manning, took his all-minority congregation to Gettysburg in 2015 to lay flowers on the graves of Union soldiers who fell there, in thanks for giving their lives in a war that ended slavery in the US. I've not checked that story out, but I would caution that anything that involves the Daily Mail, should be taken with a healthy dose of scepticism. Any news article only has to be 5% truth in the UK and the Mail has been known to play fast and loose with even that.
