This can mean you like it dipped in some unusual sauce, or maybe you hold it a certain way when you eat it or eat a part of it first and the rest last, or maybe you like it cooked an unusual way, etc.

For me, a couple candy bars come to mind:
KIT KAT-- I like to eat all the edges first, then the wafer rest.
TWIX-- I eat all the edges off this too, but also the top (including the caramel), leaving the cookie.  Then I eat that.

I used to find myself eating a hamburger upside down-- I'd flip it upside down into my mouth and not even really notice.

What unusual ways do you eat certain foods?

For pizza I usually fold two pieces together and eat it like a taco.
I eat fries with mayo/aioli.
Not eating, but for most alcoholic drinks at home I drink it neat.
yeah no.

Russell- I always flip a burger too. And I DO know why!

I like baloney samwhiches with crunchy peanut butter on it.
I like cream cheese and grape jelly on toast.
I have used Kool-Aid on cereal if I ran out of milk.

I don't like meat on pizza.

When I used to eat burgers - my vegan sister convinced me to stop - I always had just the bun and the meat, no sauce or garnish.

I can't eat fish without fries or ketchup.

I can eat any sort of pizza except Hawaiian or a seafood one.

If I eat hot cross buns around Easter, I pick the raisins out and flick them at someone.

I will eat anything that is made from a corncob - bread, cereal etc - but I don't like corn on the cob.

I am not a fruit person but I enjoy any kind of fruit juice: apple and orange for preference.

I ate calamari once, liked it, asked what it was, was told "It's octopus" and never ate it again.  :buggedout:

I'll never understand why we are required to eat at all. Such a weakness to have this ongoing dependency.

That said, if y'all ever wanna fly close to the sun, try whipping up some garum, according to an old Roman recipe. I dare ya....

When I'm craving Nutella I have some with Erdnussflips (puffed peanut snack), as in dipping the puffs.
When I'm snacking on olives I suck out the pimiento first.
I shred the ham when I make a ham & cheese sandwich. Or I cut the ham in thin strips. For some reason I don't like thin ham slices cut into squares, but I don't mind squares if the ham is thick.

I bite both ends off a hotdog first. Then I eat it.
I will take mullberrys off the tree in the backyard and put them into any cereal I have. Even Lucky Charms.
