List some of your favorite holiday movies.

Scrooge the musical.  Albert Finney,  Alec guiness. I don't give a damn what people  say,  I like this one!

A Christmas carol starring George c. Scott,  best version AFAIC.

A Christmas carol starring Patrick Stewart,   a damn close close second.

Worst Christmas movie ever made: Santa Claus conquers the martians.
The doctor that circumcised Trump threw away the wrong piece.

Rev. Powell

The original MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET.

A CHRISTMAS STORY.

Specials: The Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (with Karloff!)

Enjoyable bad Christmas movies: SANTA CONQUERS THE MARTIANS, SANTA CLAUS (1959 Mexican).

The absolute worst Christmas movie has to be SANTA AND THE ICE CREAM BUNNY, though I kind of enjoy it for its awfulness.

Which holiday? Oh, you mean Christmas? It's A Wonderful Life is tough to beat but I remember being little and seeing this enjoyable movie where a family is gathered for Christmas and someone starts murdering them, I think with an ax. A girl hid under a log....and her....aunt, who was the killer, thought she was dead at the end and she wasn't? I was about four and it blew my mind, Christmas and murder. Maybe I'm confusing more than one film, this was ages back and my Uncle Patrick, who used to read me Poe stories when I was a toddler, let me watch it with him. I should see that again. Ironically----causal link here----his daughter later tried to stab me to death, though not at Christmastime. I know it's a shock to all of you, the thought anyone would want to stab me, eh?
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

Some bad movie fan you are!

My least favorite is IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. Never been able to make it through that one in a single sitting.

I hope Santa farted down the chimney and burned satans face off a few  seconds later.

THE NATIVITY STORY was a favorite of mine from a few years back.
And I am one of those odd souls who enjoyed Bill Murray in SCROOGED.

Sweet Satan!  :buggedout: I just watched that last week! That was -I don't know what the f**k it was!  :buggedout:
It had a bunch of brain dead brats, Santa Claus in Florida (?), Thumbilna (??), a f**king place called Pirate World, a GORILLA!, and a terrifying rabbit driving a truck filled with rabid rug rats! :bouncegiggle:

I watched the MAGIC CHRISTMAS TREE (1964) last year for some insane reason. Should have called it Kill Me Now Please!

It's not nearly as action-packed as the trailer would have you believe!

Yeah, that's a bad one. Not as fun as SANTA & THE ICE CREAM BUNNY; just forgettable, really.

I love this one. Saw it in the theater the year it was released. Have it on DVD now.

Some other favorites are:

* A Christmas Carol (just about all versions, but my favorite is 1951 . . . the Albert Finney version is #2)

* A Christmas Story

* The Christmas that Almost Wasn't (1966) - Bad and cheesy, but it has sentimental value. I saw it in the theater when I was about 6 or 7 years old (it got re-released every Christmas back in the late 60s/early 70s).

* The Homecoming - Yup, pre-TV series Walton family (with a few different cast members)

I "think" this is the movie I was talking about up there, the one I saw at Christmastime when I was four:

Yeah. I was stunned by SANTA AND THE ICE CREAM BUNNY. I had read about it in Psychhotronic, and then I read it on your blog, so I thought-"Hey? Why not?" dam. Not something to see when your alone and high. Or maybe it is!  :drink:
Now the f**king Magic f**king Christmas f**king Tree is just like shooting pure heroin into your head.

Worst Christmas movie is probably A Christmas Elf (Named Calvin). It's literally a 70 minute slideshow that has a narrator.  Fun in Balloonland might be a Christmas flick because it has Santa, albeit as a stand in for a parade. Best is Die Hard. Favorite? no idea.
yeah no.
