Does anyone else here like falling asleep to movies?  Not by accident, but do any of you actually put a movie on with full knowledge that it will knock you out?
For example, I couldn't sleep last night so I tossed "Frogs" into the DVD player and I was gone within 15 minutes.

There are only two important things in life - monsters and hot chicks.
    - Rob Zombie
Rape is just cause for murdering.
    - Strapping Young Lad

I do that with "Night of Horror." It's worth seeing, just to see how mind-bogglingly dull a movie can be.

Not generally.  Years ago I would fall alseep over at a friend's house while watching Rozencrantz & Gildenstern Are Dead.  Happened every time we watched it.  Of course that movie was the last one of 3-4 movies we watched, while drinking beer.  That may have played a part in it.

Half-Baked - My brother owns this one, and since he's now living with us, I can watch it as often as I like. Thing is, I never get more than 20-30 min in before I pass out. Just as well, 'cause I haven't, so far, enjoyed the bits I've seen.

For some reason this one is a snoozer for me, not that it's necessarily boring, just puts me out....even when I haven't had a couple. The rest of the household (which aside from my girlfriend and I, consists of under people 18 and under) thinks the film is HYsterical. I use it as an insomnia cure. Am I missing out?

Everyone has potentially fatal flaws, but yours involve a love of soldiers' wives, an insatiable thirst for whiskey, and the seven weak points in your left ventricle.

Funny enough, I finally got through "In the Year 2889."  I think it took me 5 tries, starting where I could remember being awake during the last try.  The darn film is only about 80 minutes long, if that.

I've had similar problems with other movies over the years.  I often try to watch a movie before going to sleep, but 5 tries might be a record.
