I love how my cat Fortuna has taken to curling up between my wife and I when we go to sleep at night.  I often doze off with one hand touching each of them.

My family.  My friends.  The USA.
Cats.
Dogs.
Trees.
Log fires, good cooking, history, movies, records... Rock n' Roll, old toys, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas...
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

Cross dressing

I think I should start doing that again: I actually like myself when I'm all dressed up: when I'm not, not so much.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

That chaotic swirl of sounds an orchestra makes as musicians tune their instruments before a concert.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

I think I should start doing that again: I actually like myself when I'm all dressed up: when I'm not, not so much.
Do it. I'm going on a booze cruise (12 bars in 10 hours) this Saturday and I'm going to be dolled up.
yeah no.

Owning little pieces of the past, whether it be an Indian arrowhead, a Roman coin, or a lump of coal from the TITANIC! (my latest acquisition)

Not having to go to work on a Monday morning.
Hail to thyself
For I am my own master
I am my own god
I require no shepherd
For I am no sheep.

I LOVE a good painting.

I LOVE biographies.  Just started DAVID McCULLOUGH's John Adams.  It's only about 1000 pages.

I LOVE a great short novel like The Great Gatsby (I don't like any of the movies made of it).  I LOVE Slaughterhouse Five a "Science Fiction" story.  If you like fantasy and faith interests you, read LARRY NIVEN and JERRY POURNELLE's Inferno.  I LOVE Inferno. All three short and unforgettable.

I LOVE cheap red wine that's good.    :drink:
