Many years ago there was a movie about Dracula on t.v. Having just read the book "Dracula" I saw one or two similarities between the two though there were many differneces. When I came in: a man and a woman were in a castle and one of them (I think it was the woman) was holding a cross and was keeping Dracula and another female vampire at bay. The man was (I think) moving toward the door to open it. But then another man comes in and tries to attack Man #1. But Man #1 knocks Man#2 out and grabs two pieces of wood and makes a second cross to help keep the two vampiers back some more. The man and the woman escape and get to another building. At the building is a age man and someother people but during the night the female Vampire breaks into the building but is stabbed in the heart with a stake. (I think they said that she was Man #1's sister). And Dracula also comes to the building and he hynotiszes the woman. And Dracula opens his shirt and makes some cuts on his chest and then tries to draw the womans mouth to it (there's a scene similar to this in the book). But then Man #1 and someother people break into the room and Dracula runs away.
Let me see now. After some talking between the good guys they find out that Dracula is in a coffin and is being carrried on a horse carrage by Man #2. So Man #1, the woman and aged man have to kill Dracula now. They catch up with the carriage and shoot Man #2. But the coffin falls out of the carrage and onto a frozen lake. It's getting dark now so Man #1 quickly runs to the coffin to open it but before he can kill Dracula, Dracula attacks him. And the two wrestle on the frozen lake. The woman take the rifle from the aged man and shoots at the lake. She breaks the ice enough that a chunk sinks and Dracula falls into the water. Man #1 is ok.
Anyway I don't know if this is a changed version of the book or if it's just a new story but the movie looks like it came from the late 60's to 70's. If the movie is called "Dracula" could someone at least give me the date of it so I know which movie it is? So anyone got any ideas?

Cullen is right.  This is the one where they say that Dracula can be killed by running water (thus, the frozen lake climax).  I have a VHS copy of this stashed away in a box somewhere.  It has a short documentary on it narrated by Christopher Lee and it shows some "home movie" type silent footage of the climax showing a stunt man dressed like Dracula falling into the water.

Thank you much guys. Maybe the "aged man" was closer to "old man"

Not a problem.  I like the ones where I instantly know the movie.  Especially when I'm the first one to answer, hehehehe.
