This weekend I started writing my seventh novel, after kicking the premise around in my head for a while.
I have written two trilogies; one about the adventures of a group of Biblical archeologists nicknamed the "Capri Team" after the site of their first adventure; the other a series of stories set in the first century Roman Empire, juxtaposing the origins of Christianity against the various Emperors of that era.
Both series are good (if I do say so myself), but I was ready to try something new.  So the latest flight of fancy is entitled:

PRESIDENT HAMILTON: A NOVEL OF ALTERNATIVE HISTORY

What if Alexander Hamilton WON the most famous duel in American history?
What if he led a revitalized Federalist Party to reclaim the White House?
Not entirely sure where all I will go with this one, but it's taken off like a shot - I finished the prologue and first two chapters in three days!
"I shall smite you in the nostrils with a rod of iron, and wax your spleen with Efferdent!!"
