The Day After (1983) directed by Nicholas Meyer.  :buggedout:

You are not the only one, Trevor. A film I have not seen, but, some hold it be still the best film ever made about a nuclear holocaust.

Maybe not traumatic, but going back to my original post, there are--at least to me--a surprising number of live action or a combination of live action and animation films that were spawned by an animated series. Some of these would include . . .

Yogi and Boo Boo (my later father's favorite animated TV character) -- Underdog -- Speed racer -- Rocky and Bullwinkle -- Inspector Gadget -- George of the Jungle -- The Flintstone -- Dudley Do-rite -- and Boris and Natasha.

That some of you have not heard of some of these, says a lot about how little business at the box office, many of these did.

Though, I think the most intriguing film would have been one that was never done, as a number of years ago, there was some talk of doing a live action Jonny Quest film with Zac Efron as Jonny and Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson as Race, which was never made.

I reckon they won't do a movie version of Ruff and Ready or Clutch Cargo anytime soon... :bluesad:
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Maybe Sleepyhallow when I was young, I dunno when I was 7 or 8. Seeing The Headless Horseman gets his head back with the skull to muscle to skin transformation freaked me out a bit, plus some of the decapitations. Ah what a time to have a young mind full of imagination.
yeah no.
