A funny thing just happened today.

I had serious snow in my driveway and was going to try a snowblower i'd never used before to clear it,hoping i could get a heavy extension cord to reach from a socket i hoped would take the blowers 15 amp draw.

Well, some people asked if they could shovel my driveway and for a very reasonable amount of money,

Well, I strongly suspect they were from a house i was told was populated by methheads up the street from me, but i went with it.

One of them i thought was a child was in fact a very small, ld woman with not a visible tooth in her mouth, the other was a guy and the other was a maybe middle aged or younger woman.

Man, they shoveled my snowplow blocker driveway in a matter of minutes all the way back to the car. All for a pretty reasonable amount.

If those were methheads they were the hardest working and most honest methheads I've ever seen. And they must have been in top shape to do that much heavy shoveling that fast.

I worked in factories since 1978. Sometimes I worked 80 hours a week during canning season.I kinda doubt that.

For the record, RCM, I wasn't implying you were a meth head at all. I mean just because your favorite actor was a junkie doesn't mean I think you are. (You've admitted to liking booze, that's not necessarily an addiction) I wasn't implying anyone here was an addict.

It was just funny that these people who I was given well intentioned warnings about for alledgely being meth heads and thieves were actually hard working and honest workers who asked a very fair price for a job and earned every cent of it and then some.

Hmm, while I'm no follower of the bible, maybe it occasionally has something valid to say, like 'judge not... "
