.DRACULA (1931)
.the MALTESE FALCON
.ON THE WATERFRONT
.GONE WITH THE WIND
.CASABLANCA
.the CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI (1919)

Myself- I have never seen Gone With the Wind or Casablanca.
I know folks who say they love Lugosi- but have never seen Dracula. I didn't either until 1992!
I seen all his other movies on TV as a kid! But I never saw Dracula!  :buggedout:
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Never seen On the waterfront, Gone with the wind, The Cabinet of Dr Caligari (well not all in the one sitting. I've seen so many clips from it from over the years and studied the techniques involved in making it that I suspect I've seen it all piecemeal, just never from start to end).

ON THE WATERFRONT is great, I know you would like it.

I once saw the colorized version of Casablanca: Yuk.  :twirl: :tongueout:

I've seen Dracula, the Humphry Bogart version of The Maltese Falcon, Gone With the Wind, and the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

Dracula was too slow when I was in high school, but I appreciate it today.
The Maltese Falcon I enjoyed.
Gone With The Wind is good, but it should be split into two films, & you need an appreciation for soapy melodrama.
Caligari's good.

Rev. Powell

I've never seen GONE WITH THE WIND (all the way though) or ON THE WATERFRONT. Neither are high on my "to see" list.

The others are all classics.

I tried to watch GONE WITH THE WIND- but it seemed to me like 1939 version of TITANIC.
Soap opera bulls**t. I reckon some folks like that kinda thing.More power to 'em!
Me, I like a little more thought, or a lot more guts or gore-or even some kinda non-conformist bravery.
That's why I like Bad Movies. Some may suck-in fact many suck. I just watched some s**t called TOMB OF TORTURE-

I liked it a lot! Of course I like peanut butter and baloney samwhiches, so what do I know! I can't even spell samwhich right!

It's odd that I've never seen CASABLANCA, because it stars 3 of the best actors of all time-Bogie,Lorre, and Veidt. Not to slight Ingrid Bergman and Claude Rains. I really need to see it.
Speaking of Bogie, it took me awhile to watch the AFRICAN QUEEN, but I'm glad I did. Great film.

All of them. In fact, I own all of  five of them, except The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I've never seen any of'em. I tend to concentrate mainly on movies from the 1960s to the present.

Nothin' against stuff older than that, but I don't go out of my way to investigate it either.

Your'e depriving yourself from what made films in the 60's on possible.
Crazy exploitation, unexpected off the wall obscure films, and great performances by great actors.
