One sister younger by about 3 years. The 1st memory I have is of her baptism.

2 older sisters-- one by 2 years, one by 5.  Not a fan of either; one is bossy and competitive for no reason at all, and the other is a bit similar but will at least back off if you assert yourself.  I don't see them much and don't lose sleep over it.

2 younger brothers-- one by 9 years, one by 11.  Both a different mom.  One kind of a shady f***er and a-hole but we get along.  The other a jujitsu master and has a couple kids, but still is pretty irresponsible and a slob.  They do not speak to each other but I get along with both.

Two brothers, both among the silent majority.
As in they don't speak to you either?

I had two brothers, the eldest died 9 years ago, and I have two sisters.

Two older brothers
One older sister
One younger brother
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

It probably means they are dead.

Otherwise, it's a term Nixon used to mean people who supported the Vietnam War.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

ER lost two brothers in their infancy; not a cool topic to pick on her about, AHD!!!

As for me, I have one brother and two sisters, all still living, all older than me.

I'm an only child, sadly.  :bluesad:

But: I have three ladies I consider to be sisters - one of whom's kids saved me from committing suicide in 2008 after my Dad passed - and two guys who are brothers to me, both younger than me.

Then I have all of you.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

As in they both died as babies, one of them while my mother was holding him in the hospital. He looked at her and held her finger while he struggled to breathe, it was harder and harder for him since his lungs were not formed right, and he went more and more blue over time til after one last breath he closed his eyes and his hand slid off her finger, and she still held him while he got colder until finally the nurses came and took him away. When next she saw him he was in a tiny white casket. His name was Daniel. My father was away, serving the country, and did not know for some time that his son had died, he thought he'd be back in time for the birth and all the happiness that contained, and instead he had to come back to learning that. It was a terrible time for my family.

Actually, John, I wish you wouldn't speak to me but I know you are obsessed. Most men find it beneath their dignity as a man to be cruel to a woman for sport, but I guess you are an exception.

Evelyn, you will not get a rise out of me with your usual button pushing.  So it's not beneath your dignity to slam me for being proud of my heritage, a heritage we share?  Aside from feeling entitled, and overly-impressed by yourself, you are a sexist, too.  And with your long PM tirades and criticizing me after being absent for 10 days, I'd guess you're the obsessed.

As for your sad story, I also had a brother who died in infancy.  His name was Mark.

John, I think you've established you don't like me. Honestly, I don't care, you've never made me mad, only for the most part amused me but it's gotten boring, man, so boring, like playing tennis with a kid. Why do you keep polluting this place by reminding everyone at every opportunity that you have a thing for ER? Why not post me in private if you want to make a heavy-handed jab and let everyone else be spared all this? Really, why don't you? Or better yet, how about you just stop altogether? At this point what is there left to say or prove or what point is there to (try to) be scored? It's official, you dislike me, I get it.

Or maybe you truly do like picking on women. I wonder. Seriously.

One way or the other, how about you give the people here a break and stop making them read all this? Write me privately if you have other negative things to say, so I can ignore them and no one else has to feel the negativity.

Really, please find a new hobby, you're no good at this one.

Characterize all you care to Evelyn, but as you know, I requested you to stop sending PM to me.  You know well that I'm not liable to send you such.   I don't like what you write, on the forum or in PM, and will respond to such as I see fit.  You're wrong, though, poor kitten.  I do like you.  (Emoticons pending) :teddyr:

AH!
Such a glorious morning!

Actually-it's cold as f**k! We had high winds and ice storms all night! The electricity went on and off all nite, and it just shut down at about 10:00 until about 6:00 this morn. Now it's snowing with the high winds....I love Michigan. :drink:

It's a pretty day here but cold. I went walking in an old cemetery at lunch and when I got back in the car my face was almost numb, lol. Yesterday we had thunderstorms and the power even got knocked off, but then 45 MPH winds came in with a cold front at dusk and today it's sunny but wickedly chilly. My poor koi fish were huddled next to the heater out back in the garden pond when my son and I went out to feed them.
