CABIN FEVER (2002) - Not bad for a recent horror film. Yes it has some dialogue and images that you won't see in most films today.  I liked the hypcondriac and the locals.

It reminded me of THE FLESH EATERS (1964) (that you can't find anywhere on dvd or vhs) about flesh eating microbes in the ocean and a group stranded on a deserted island with a nazi scientist. Well this might be a kind of remake done in the woods not to mention the recent outbreaks of such a real life illness.

Great little horror flick.  Eli Roth really made a great homage to the "CABIN IN THE WOODS = DEATH" films of the 70s and 80s.

As for The Flesh Eaters, that looks like a great film from the pictures you listed.  Will try to track it down somewhere if possible.

Scott,

Seems that the DVD can be found on Ebay.  Guess that the film is actually public domain for whatever reason (as is NOTLD) and can be reproduced on DVD legally.

I'll have to buy it sometime soon.  Looks like fun times.

Wow Skaboi, I'd love to get a chance to see THE FLESH EATERS again. I never by stuff online. If I ever do then it would be one of the first that I seek out.

Scott, it's always a good idea to be careful when buying stuff online.  Paypal (Owned by Ebay) is actually pretty good.  Basically, I've never had any trouble with them, but that doesn't mean that trouble can't spring up.

But being as the film is public domain, you might be able to download it from the internet with no fear of repurcussions.
