I'm going to recommend a few books for people to try reading in no particular order.

"Heads", by Greg Bear. https://www.amazon.com/Heads-Greg-Bear/dp/0812519965

This is a not even thinly veiled full auto assault on the scientology cult, written as a short science fiction novel. People who don't like scientology or cults in general should like this.

"World without end" by Joe Haldeman. https://www.amazon.com/WORLD-WITHOUT-Star-Trek-Ser/dp/B0017GFE48/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_7?keywords=world+without+end+haldeman&qid=1556464467&s=books&sr=1-7-fkmrnull

This in an excellent short novel set in the classic star trek universe, one of the best trek novels I've ever read.

"Crysis legion" by Peter Watts. https://www.amazon.com/Crysis-Legion-Peter-Watts/dp/0345526783/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=crysis+legion&qid=1556464638&s=books&sr=1-1-spell

As a rule novels based on video games suck. This breaks that rule like a cannonball thru a picture window. You'll need toi keep a tablet handy to look up some words and terms the author throws in, because he's a hardcore scientist and uses some real scientific facts in his science fiction. It's also a great action novel and loaded with commentary on humanity, civilization, etc.
The doctor that circumcised Trump threw away the wrong piece.

I've been meaning to start a thread called "Books I've Been Meaning To Read"..........
