Do you have any idea how BIG Texas is?  There's no fracking within 50 miles of my house, and TBH, I think the stories of its effect on drinking water are grossly exaggerated. 

But, seriously, everyone knows water was made to create ice cubes for Dr. Pepper and iced tea!
