Any ghost movie...
Don't agree!

I think of both THE HAUNTING and THE INNOCENTS as Ghost movies... great Ghost movies.  Yet, are they?  Perhaps in the first is an elemental, and the other... psychological...?
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

the HAUNTING-your right on that. Shirley Jackson is lots of things, religious is not one of them.

Now that's something I always freak out about. I believe in ghosts, but I'm an atheist.

What Dreams May Come - A visually pleasing but dull movie where Robin Williams must travel to hell to get his wife.

This is one of  Williams' few movies I liked.
The doctor that circumcised Trump threw away the wrong piece.

Audrey Rose is one that fits here (I think)
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Hail to thyself
For I am my own master
I am my own god
I require no shepherd
For I am no sheep.

The cat dies, but visits an "Egyptian" afterlife for cats & is sent back into her body.  It's a small scene, but the idea that a cat has 9 lives & that she can/will come back seems to be a theme of the movie, if memory serves.
