Cool

QuoteAfter much anticipation, Star Wars fans on Friday finally got their first look at Star Wars: Episode IX, titled The Rise of Skywalker.

The teaser trailer dropped during the Star Wars: Episode IX panel at Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019, which was hosted by Stephen Colbert.

Carrie Fisher, who died in 2016, will still appear in the movie as Princess Leia, using previously unseen footage from The Force Awakens.

Looking forward to it.

Actually, so am I, as it does look good, so far. A story 42 years in the making, finally comes to an end. We'll have to see how it does at the box office, but, it is not expected to the last Star Wars trilogy. Though, where they go from here is anybody's guess, but, there is some talk that the next Star Wars trilogy will take place during the time period of the Knights of the Old Republic.

Looking at who is in it, it looks like nearly everyone will back for the conclusion of Episode IX. Though, I am going to miss Captain Phasma.

And there is always room for 1 more. Apparently, making their initial appearance in the Star Wars universe, 2 names popped out: Dominic Monaghan, who was--of course-- in Lord of the Rings. I wonder what role he plays, and Richard E. Grant, whos career in films dates back to the 1980's. Though, if what I heard is correct, he is to play the villain in the film.

And we will see what we will see later this year.

A lot of people were suggesting that Grant would be perfect to play Thrawn.

I am my own god

For I am no sheep.

Nice to see his career getting a kick in the pants again.

For me, I'm hoping for a 3D and Imam release here as happened with The Last Jedi.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

A lot of people did say this, but, he said no. That his character was not Thrawn. That is not to say that he may play Thrawn sometime in the future.
