Got the new job. My last day at my current work is this Friday. New job starts Tuesday morning.  Getting things wrapped up and turned over to others.

Tomorrow is my last full day at my current work.  I'm working part of the day on Friday but am going to bang out a bit early to FedEx work's stuff back to them and do some other things.  As my brother in law would say, doing Sprite stuff.  (He used to call the activities my late fur niece Maggie engaged in was Maggie doing Maggie stuff).

If nothing else, I am so f**king glad I get to go back to carrying one cell phone.  For the past 4.75 years I've been carrying two phones.  My personal one and my work one.  It will be so nice to just carry one phone.  My new work doesn't provide work cell phones but they probably have it where a person can forward their calls if needed.  I'll find out next week.

Worked until a bit after lunch today then logged off.  Put all the work stuff in a box and huffed over to a FedEx shipping place to send it back to them.  So as of 1pm today my current work is now my previous job. 

It felt kind of strange to just carry one cell phone, but felt damn good when I remembered why I only had one phone. 

Looking forward to starting the new job Tuesday.
