Another excellent bad movie alert!

I watched all of it... except the very end. 
I had forgotten about JOHN CARRADINE at the beginning and his line: "If I cut it off, it won't grow back!" 
Some of it is beautifully contrived (the old movie clips) and funny.  Much of it is offensive.  Largely pointless, it's also revolting.

If it happens to be the only movie that survives WWIII, I wouldn't re watch it.

1) How did the book becomes popular in the first place? It sounds like trash.

2) Who in their right mind would think that it would make for a good movie adaptation?

Different time, guy. Back then a sex change was unheard of, it was shocking, scandalous, outrageous, etc. Made for a bestseller.
