I wonder how people can make and preview an obviously bad movie Like batman and robin and not  realize it utterly sucks.  How in ghawd's name can people look at a movie like that  or superman 4 and not realize it's  a giant steaming pile of $&¡#?

From what I've seen it seems that people who upload 'real horror' content on The Dark Web went to the Art School of Marilyn Manson music videos.

Good observation, but I think those two things are tightly connected not a surprise. People who have extreme views think emotionally and are easily offended by the opposite perspective. People who think rationally approach things calmly and consider other perspectives politely even if they don't agree.

I found that out a few years back when SA played in the 2015 Cricket World Cup and lost as per usual: I went on a small rant on FB and was verbally assaulted and called a racist for "insulting the children of Nelson Mandela"  by taking our cricket team to task - one of the accusers was someone I've known almost all my life.

That's why I am not on social media anymore: I just pop up here daily.

The percentage of people claiming to be religious in the UK is down to an all-time low of 32% according to a survey. For most of my life that figure has been around 50%, with people now increasingly claiming more to follow science.

When you start figuring into the scientific beliefs of some of them and how much they are prepared to manipulate facts, I can't help but think it really isn't any better believing in science than religion. Indeed, if this decline continues and the human race manages not to wipe itself out somewhere down the line I can see people complaining that science has caused more wars than anything else (which much the same as blaming religion for wars shows an almost complete ignorance of human nature really).
