 Why does this always come back into my head?
I hate f**king jail. Nothing real evil happened to me in jail. I din't get beat up or f**ked in the ass when I was in jail.
But it really-REAALY sucked. And I went there a LOT. I believe I even went there a couple times as a member of this board!
I never commited a felony- I got drunk alot- did dumb s**t in public. Longest I ever did was 45 days-and that was because I broke probation 3 time for drinking when I was told by the laws I can't. I was like-"what"? So I got arrested again and again.
Any way...ever been to jail?

I got arrested one time, for trespassing, and spent a total of two hours in a cell.  That was enough.
(FWIW, I wasn't really trespassing; I had permission to be on the property but the old caretaker had died and the new one didn't know me.  One phone call cleared things up.)

So what did they call it? A funny farm? Were you in jail or a nut house? There is a difference. I been in both.
You go to jail if yer drunk driving or get in a barfight.
You go to the fruit factory when your lying in your driveway screaming at the sky.

They called it a "group home". There was a trend called "institutionalization" where a slick talking psychologist with a degree targets a troubled teen and convinces his family he needs to be institutionalized even if he has no criminal record.

Those places tended  to be poorly supervised and any butcher with a psychology degree could use wnagtwever form of mental and psychological torture he wanted to break kids. Dehumanization, degradation, debasement, demeaning,  etc. Deliberate attacks on a kids ability to believe in himself, destroy his ego,  crush his estemm then turn him into little Mr.
Roboto.

They were half successful,  they fubared me in gems on self confidence and alsommy abiltyt o tolerate being arbitrarily ordered around. I never became heir little mr. Roboto, I have severe ODD to this day and always will. They also forced us into a christian regime,  prayer,  study,  etc. Illegal?  Sure!  What we're we going to do?  Leave? Sure with locked doors

What they did was basically non sexual rape. Tape isn't really about sex, itcs about power,  dominance,  violating someone. That's what they did.

I came out full of hate and bitterness. In time I learned to stop hating myself for  not  being able to stop what they did to me,  I still hate "the system" for what it did to me tho.


I was there for a year. Never got over it, never will. A year of carefully crafter psychological destruction and calculated brutality damaged me beyond repair. Some people can royally xxxxed up by one severe traumatic incident. I had a year of constant assault on my mind, ego,  identity,  etc.

I'm sure some people here will fling their excrrement at me here. Whoop whoop.

Not from me. I been in nut houses. More than once. I been in rehabs too. And Jail. Thyr'e all interesting in their own f**ked up ways. But it NEVER changed who I was.
And I ALWAYS kept my sense of humor no matter where I was. Because I truly think everything is f**king stupid. And I laugh before I fight.
And I am truly grateful to be alive right now, when most of my family and freinds are dead.

No clue. I have no real problem with anybody one the board- mostly for the simple fact that this is a film board on the internet. Nobody pulled a gun on me. Or punched me in the head! If that happens- yeah- I'll chase them down Pelham Parkway with a knife!
But not today...dam...why? s**t, man! I just wanna talk about monsters!
But I AM the one who brought up the subject-arn't I?
I reckon I'm just wanting to exorcise demons in my own heart. Because I DO hate jail and I hate f**king every cop in this town.

I don't feel this way. There are bad cops,  yes. There are cops I wouldn't  blame the victims or the relatives of their victims for shooting. There are cops who should be taken out, but a lot are decent people. I've seen damn good ones. I saw a video of one who pushed a man out of they or a car trying to hit them both and get his legs crushed on a concrete divider for saving a stranger.  I've seen ones jump into rivers to rescued people from cars that had gone into them. I've seen  them help my hysterical and bloody next door neighbor the night I called hem for her because someone had tried to murder her and left her injured and terrified. 

Yeah there are a lotta Aholes, bullies, criminals,  psychopaths,  etc with badges but there are a lot of decent ones too.

Like Indy, I spent a few hours in a holding cell in jail (scofflaw on a ticket) and I made sure I never went back.

Sven- I know there are good cops. I don't have a problem with most of them. But- like most of the human race- I am prejudiced against a certain group of people. Cops happen to be the one on my brain that I chose, right or wrong-wrong of course. But I can't help it-it's hard wired into my brain- I see a badge, I think 'Mother f**ker'.

How are you towards Military Police?  I speant a year working as one of those on an Airforce base.  (I didn't get a badge though because technically I wasn't an MP.  I just did all the stuff that MPs do, showed up for MP rolecall, and worked an MP job with other MPs.)
