The last is only a guess, but Davies has said he is willing to return as Sallah.

And there is talk out there that Short Round will also be in it. Though, if so, they will have to find a new actor to portray the character, as the actor who originally appeared as Short Round has not been in a film since 2002.

As for the time period, when the film is set, with Harrison's advancing age, it is most likely that the film will supposedly happen during the late '60's or the mid '70's. Though, nothing definitve has been decided at this time.
