So  the Joker movie uses a song written by someone who was later convicted of pedophilia.

So what?

Yeah,  I said "so what? "

If your head hasn't exploded i'll go on to say that the outrage brigade is blowing head gaskets over this guy possibly being paid for the use of his music.

And again I say "So what? "

He's in prison and quite likely to remain there for most of the next decade. What's he gonna do? Buy a 50" 4k smart tv for his cell? Tool around the prison yard in a new Ferrari?  No matter how much money he gets he can't spend cent more than prison regs  allow or buy anything the prison commissary doesn't sell. So he gets extra ramen noodles for the next 10 years? Big deal.

Also if the outrage brigade had any brains they'd hope he got paid a lot for the use of  his song,  a million $ at least. Why?  Because any money he gets will have lawyers swooping down on it like paeticularly vile vultures. He'll never  see a penny.  Anything he gets now that it's  known he might get anything will be claimed by lawyers form the victims families.Even if he fought the lawsuit his chances of winning are so non existant I doubt he could find a lawyer willing to take the case.

You really hate this guy? You should hope he gets paid big money for this just to make it all the more of a torment when every cent is taken away without his touching a single one. Hell, I hope he gets paid big time, the victims get whatever falls out of the grasping vulture's talons of their lawyers AND the government still hold him accountable for all the taxes so the victims families get it and he has to lay the taxes on money he never got.

Man that  might even be worse than a pedo deserves...
