Who do you like better? I have been brooding on this for about 5 minutes, and I'm at a crossroad!

PETER LORRE is always a pleasure, but anything with VINCENT PRICE is better because of his presence.
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

I'd have to go with Vincent Price. No contest.
Hail to thyself
For I am my own master
I am my own god
I require no shepherd
For I am no sheep.

Peter Lorre has the more distinguished career: M, THE MALTESE FALCON, CASABLANCA. Price is one of the biggest horror icons. I like Lorre better.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I'm leaning toward Lorre too.

I'll watch it just because he's in it.
Here he is in a great movie- the FACE BEHIND THE MASK (1941)

Peter Lorre has a more classic resume, but I have to go with Vincent Price.  He just oozed with sinister charm and had a voice that nobody can really match.

The reason I like VINCENT PRICE is more because of his resume, than those dopey fluffy fun movies he got famous for...

THE PRIVATE LIVES OF ELIZABETH AND ESSEX (PRICE starts off his film career in a small but memorable part).
TOWER OF LONDON
BRIGHAM YOUNG (he plays Joseph Smith!  Best part is when he dies!  Stars DEAN JAGGER )
LAURA
LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN
DRAGONWYCK
THE THREE MUSKETEERS
(best Richelieu of them all)... memorable parts in impressive films before we get to HOUSE OF WAX and future schlock...

If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

It really is apples and oranges.
My favorite movie with both in it is COMEDY OF TERRORS (1963)

I liked it or I appreciated it more, the 2nd time I saw it. And let us not forget it also starred Basil Rathbone, Boris Karloff, and he of the big mouth Joe. E. Brown. And if one wants to see one of the props from the film, the hearse coach used in the beginning of the film can be found outside of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland.

Every part was cast perfect. Price and Lorre are funnier than Martin and Lewis! These guys are actors.
Karloff is perfect as the senile Father.
And Rathbone...!  :bouncegiggle:

Vincent Price all the way.

My friend Clare's dad encountered him once and Price said hello as he walked past, lol.

Doesn't matter if all the drug use and rumors of his fondness for Nazism, rough trade and sex with mounted animal corpses is true, Price will always the host of Mystery! and creepy dad to Edward Scissorhands in my book!
What does not kill me makes me stranger.
