Jingle Bell Jazz  (wonderful collection)

Who's on it? If I'm not mistaken there've been a couple of albums with that name. I don't recognize the cover.

DEXTER GORDON QUARTET -  McCOY TYNER - HEATH BROTHERS - BLYTHE ARTHUR QUARTET - WYNTON MARSALIS SEPTET - DUKE ELLINGTON - LIONEL HAMPTON - CARMEN McRAE - DAVE BRUBECK QUARTET - IKE ISAACS TRIO  - MILES DAVIS  - HERBIE HANCOCK  - PAQUITO d'RIVERA - PONY POINDEXTER - IKE ISAACS TRIO

I think that's everybody, a couple I haven't heard of.  The list is not exactly in order of the tracks, but there is not a dud on the collection.  McCOY TYNER's "I'll Be Home For Christmas" is sublime.

I've circled back to Heavy Metal, or at least a modern subgenre (sorta) of it.

Recently into Doom Metal and Cold Wave min synth electronica. Really enjoying the modern bands that have that Satanic 70s Black Sabbath vibe.

I can't get enough Electric Wizard, Kult of the Wizard, and most especially Brume, who just released their third album in November.

I would call that Sludge Metal.  Ech.  It's just noise.
