the dems should nominate bernie so he can do socialized healthcare and cut down the military to normal proportions

otherwise what reason is there to give up what will no doubt be another 4 years of a strong economy.

Because money is not everything.  It's trump's push to deregulation and "old fashioned" values that makes investors - y'know the few with REAL money - drive the money-making market.  The majority of us "benefit" with hush money... which will be taken back in time.  Money money money.

one of the first things you learn in economics is : human action not human planning.

you can't hold peoples hand in the voting booth. people need a solid reason to give up "money money money" which is what they are getting now except in the farming belt, as we've learned

Politics usually divided people.

Always. There is no such thing as Politics and a civil discussion. Politics brings out the ugly in people.
People should keep their politics and religious views to themselves: less drama.

My grandma usta saw when we had a rare getogether on Thanksgiving or some s**t- "Don't talk about the president or God!"

Nobody ever listened . It would devolve into mindless bickering bulls**t. And yes- I do it all the time.

And the farming belt is who elected Trump. And we are really being cornholed now. I knew Trumps dumb WWF ass was gonna f**k us  and he was just selling his ass to us "hillbillys".
Lots of us are smarter than you think. But yes- there are a lot of Confederate flag waving a***oles who say n****r right in front of me and Tiana, and she's black. I'm ready to punch this moron in the face, and Tiana will give me a side look of "Ronny!" I just walk away quick. I hate racist hillbilly f**kers.  :hatred: f**king Trumpets.
The economy is a trickle down s**t. Trump has nothing to do with it. He is NOT a good business man.He failed using his daddys money so he went to Russia to get it from them. That's why he kisses Putin's ass.
Well. I'm gonna shut up.

I think I was discussing human action.  Politics of passion has not been in style for decades.  If you don't think the "plan" is to make money, you would be naive.  Of course I agree that money money money is a HUGE motivator.  That doesn't mean I'm fooled.  I also know I am rich compared to most people.

there are lots of Brazilians here in Boston. I always ask them when I'm doing rideshare "Bolsonaro: yes or no?" thats the new Trump type president in Brazil. 90% of them love the guy. So many of them had to come here because the economy was so bad, Bolsonaro is turning it around.

He's even more of an a***ole than Trump and some of the younger, more cosmopolitan women don't like him for that reason.

My point is people want to survive, they don't care if the president is a nice guy.

Hitler did too. Got Germany up and moving again! I reckon he was a good leader too.
It may put a dollar in your pocket- but at what price?  :bluesad: Of our dignity as a people?  Looked at by the world as self serving gangsters?
The sky is always blue before the storm hits. His international policies are going to f**k us in the long run.
He kissed Putin's ass and Kim's ass and got nothing good done.
I will shut up now! And bang my head against a wall!

RC- analogies are the weakest way to make an argument. It's not 1933 and Trump isn't Hitler. neither was Reagan, he's just a republican

most politicians are scumbags. They are down there with used car salesmen and other sorts of scam artists people used to understand this!

^ It's hard not to equate Trump and Hitler. They were both Populists. Nationalism was the political flag of the day. He zeroed in on a target audiance-Trump hit the poor-so did Hitler.Nazi's were afraid of Jews. Trumps base is afraid of spicks and n****rs. It's not a paranoid delusion or weak argument.
Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

All populists aren't the same as Hitler and the argument falls apart around that.

if Trump, or Trump, had any of those inclinations he'd be constrained by the Constitution. If he suspends that then we'll revisit the comparison

He don't seem to be constrained by the Constitution now. He's being impeached because he broke the laws of the Constitution.
