Wow! Look at that poster! City's aflame! Half nekkid women in distress!
That's not in the movie, though.
What you do get is a giant fireball from outer space that burns folks up into piles of human- shaped ash when they find glowing, beeping (yes beeping) pebbles on the beach. And that's the plot.
You also get a hippie running like he's on angel dust down the beach swinging his dead cat over his head , some lame animated fireball f/x that uses the same shot over and over and over, some very brain drain droning music, and some of the flattest acting this side of BLOOD FREAK.
Amazingly, the writer Harry Essex also wrote the classic sci-fi film IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE (1953), and the not so amazing OCTAMAN (1971).
Not good in a even a BAD way.

OCTAMAN (1971)?
Oh yeah, I wound up with one those camera filters a few years ago....

Even the filter isn't that amusing.....

Oh, and it turns out the female protagonist played Greedo in Star Wars....

Aaaand, now this picture of a Hawaiian "lava bubble" is making the rounds on the web.....
Some reports claim it's really from a 1969 eruption, but it looks like the work of Toho to me........

This film was released on a double-bill with OCTAMAN, which shows just how mediocre it truly was... :buggedout:
