I'm very curious to see what Rev has to say about this list for obvious reasons
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I believe in the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

I've only seen 13 of them. Their #1 pick is my 2nd least favorite. I can't imagine not ranking BASKET CASE #1, it's on a whole different level of talent than the rest of these.

What's the difference from a DVD and a DVD-R?

They make their DVD-Rs only when someone orders one. They transfer the film to a recordable DVD. So, they aren't mass-produced like most DVDs. Many movies on their site are only available in DVD-R (or digital download), so they won't be making the DVD-Rs after this year. They made a mistake on one of mine: SECRET AGENT SUPER DRAGON. They forgot to put the final 1 or 2 reels of the movie on the disc. The movie just ends abruptly. It's probably better that way.

I assume you'll still be able to download and burn to a DVD of your own?

Yes, I think they are continuing to sell digital downloads after this year.

Jeez I don't know how I missed this thread when it was first posted! Fortunately enough I just got some more of these including the top rated Wizard of Gore. I won an auction for the OOP box set of Herschell Gordon Lewis that also includes The Gruesome Twosome, She-Devils on Wheels, The Gore Gore Girls, A Taste of Blood, and Something Weird itself.

I love this company so much and am glad they are living on in some form even after Mike's passing.

I missed one- the ZODIAC KILLER (1971). I did a review of it that's posted on Bad Movies somewhere...

Oh- they can get so much worse! Try watching BAT p***y (1971)
Bat p***y is played by an actress (?) named Dora Dildo!!
Not only is it the worst porno ever made- it may be the worst movie ever made. I mean like #1.
See that red ball she's sitting on? That was a kids toy popular in the 60's and 70's. It had a rubber handle and you bounced down the sidewalk or road with it!
