Abby (Carol Speed , from the MACK ) is a nice girl. She sings in church, she cooks food for her old man, and she gets possessed. So William (BLACULA) Marshall steps in and does African exorcist s**t!
Warner Bros., dick snackers that they were, sued them for who f**king knows. It was taken off screens soon after. I have it on VHS I bought from Video Vortex back in 1994. Back in the old tape trading days.

I love this movie. She turns from Shirley Temple to a drooling demon! And just gets flat out rude! I think it's the best EXORCIST inspired film I have ever seen. (BEYOND THE DOOR is a close second!)

According to IMDb: Out of circulation for years after Warner Bros. sued American International claiming it was a ripoff of its film The Exorcist (1973). Although the film was very profitable (its budget was approx. $200,000 and it earned $4 million in its first month of release), director/producer William Girdler never saw a penny of it because of the lawsuit, which was settled shortly before he died in 1978.
Check my crappy and unpopular reviews and ratings:

I honestly don't think it's legally out there yet! I saw it because I have a washed out bootleg copy I got from a long gone company called Video Vortex from Canada. I saw the ad in Fangoria magazine! I ordered a catalog. I usta have all sorts of vhs tape catalogs lying around.

I think some of those 50 movie paks are "public domain" or leftover prints for which licenses aren't necessary; copyright fulfillment and infringement gets shady, particularly with properties that aren't hot.  I have lots of DVD collections none of which I look at anymore!  Where oh where could that be?

Again, I think yours was probably bootlegged from an original used print - probably just like what I've got...!

Girdler must have a thing for 'Satan' and 'possession' movies- he did the mind-numbing ASYLUM OF SATAN (1972) and the MANITOU (1978) too.
