I've got the real thing at home. There is trailers, making of and music Videos. Only comes in English. The disk menus are in anime form too.

Brother Ragnarok

Think I'll just wait until it comes out as a box set with both volumes.  I would imagine they'll up the ante on the extras and have some commentary in there.  I really want commentary for this movie.

Brother R

There are only two important things in life - monsters and hot chicks.
    - Rob Zombie
Rape is just cause for murdering.
    - Strapping Young Lad

Ash

How did you manage that?

Kill Bill Vol. 1 does not come out until April 13th and that's a week away!

I luv dolma

Yeah, I was assuming both would be released on a box set soon. Volume 2 was supposed to come out in January too, but was delayed. Hope it was for the best though.

Any word on a box set? Tarantino has never done a movie like this before, not many people have either.

nobody

I must be the only person on the planet who HATED "Kill Bill".

Gecko Brothers

I have connections. I'd rather not say. *cough* My *coughed* pulled it out of his *cough. It involves family members with a serious disease in his genes and video store that releases movies weeks ahead. Actually we didn't steal it. We lost it. We paid an  independant video rental store for it.

Anywho review time:

The movie is Taratino's worst directed film yet. Yet it is a great movie. I don't have much to say about it. It is about the Bride whose name is beeped out. She has a grudge against Five people which includes Mr. Freakin Blonde Micheal Madson.
The movie is entertaining and makes great popcorn time. The true strife are few.
1. It was over exagerated gore. It wasn't that gory as I was told. I thought the gore was weak. It could've never had got NC-17 for a rating.
2.The dialoge wasn't that great.
3. The Vernita fight wasn't that cool.
4. Little extra fetures on the DvD. I guess we have to wait.
5. Taratino did no characters on it.
PROS: Violent, Killer style, Anime Lucy Lui, and it has Taratino's weirdness.
CONS: Not that gory, Like alot of things in life you want more, Soundtrack wasn't that great, and GoGo gets killed.
Bottom line: Rent it, don't buy it yet, wait for the whole collection.

Vermin Boy

Commentary would be great. I can't understand why Tarantino hasn't done any for any of the movies he's directed-- Since when has talking too much been an issue for him?

" Not that gory"

Are you sure you were paying attention during the 88 killers sequence?

well you are a nobody, get it, NOBODY??? [thank you thank you!]

seriously though you are entitled to your view, i wonder why people didn't like it. i thought it was well directed and quite fun.  I do agree it really wasn't that gory: if it was more realistic and gruesome i'd consider it gory, but that's just ''fun violence'' if you get what i mean.

I also thought the soundtrack was pretty awesome.  As you may have noticed I'm a fan of this movie.

Btw speaking of commentaries I was recently watching the deleted scenes section on Pulp Fiction and loved it, just because Tarantino was sitting in front of a blue screen for like 30 minutes crapping on.  I especially liked the little jab he had at directors who do directors cuts: he said he actually made a film he wanted to make [unlike those other scum!]  Quite funny really...

Gecko Brothers

I watched it. I rewatched it frame by frame(took a while) It was mostly just blood splatter that looked pretty simple. The actual gory stuff took place in black and white. (since Taratino planned it on the screenplay) The truth is blood DOES NOT equal gore. Here is all there was.
1.impalings. (looked cool but not that gory.)
2. heads chopped off
3. arms and legs and hands chopped off.
4. top of head cut off.
5. tongue ripped out.
6 eyes popped out.
There it is all the gore was mostly repeated and over exagerated which is cool in a sense.

I liked it okay, didn't think it was as great as some did....I thought it was a sanitized version of the martial arts films from the Seventies.   I'll wait for the box set if there ever is one....Tarrantino seems to like to wait at least seven or eight years before re-releasing things on disc--I get the feeling he's one of those anti-DVD directors like David Lynch.
