just watched FINAL SCORE (1986) again last night. Chris Mitchum's character has a few Vietnam war flashbacks while he's out seeking revenge

there must be loads of other movies where a character has nam flashbacks. it's almost a cliché... what are some others?

there's an early 80's cannibal one I'm thinking of but the name escapes me

^ I believe the cannibal one is CANNIBALS IN THE STREETS (1980).

Firefox (1982)
Clint Eastwood plays a washed up secret agent who happens know how to fly a jet fighter, & happens to fit the pressure suit of the soviet test pilot for a new plane.

Whenever things get tight, he has to fight back against flashbacks to the one time he got shot down in 'Nam...

Cool...don't think I've ever made it all the way through FIREFOX, not one of Clint's best imo

Several of the Magnum PI episodes (including the pilot) had flashback episodes to Vietnam as Magnum was a veteran.
