The other night me and Tiana were watching the new INVISIBLE MAN . She said to me " This a remake, right? What year did the first one come out?" and I said- "1933!" and then continued with who it starred and some other technical details. She gave me a look for a second than laughed.
When someone asks you an off the cuff question about a movie- do you answer with a long string of trivia?
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Probably, but I've learned to curb it.  I am a fan of brevity.

I'm sure when I talk to you, and you say something about a movie I really like, I catch myself babbling trivia.  :bouncegiggle:

When I lecture - usually about four times a year - I rattle off SA movie trivia to people, most of whom still think Charlize Theron was SA's first Oscar winner and I make them aware that not only do we have Africa's oldest film industry but that we have the fifth oldest industry in the world, after France, the UK, India and Australia.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.
