Did the whole Heritage Trail and back today.  Just over 52 miles total.

Had to take my bike in Wednesday to get the rear tire and wheel fixed up.  They told me it would probably be Monday but they got parts sooner than expected and got me fixed up early.

So after work I had a nice ten mile ride bringing the bike home.

Down in Waukee this week house/cat sitting while my sister and brother in law are out of town taking care of some stuff.

Of course I brought the two wheel money sink along even though the weather isn't all that great this week. 

Stopped raining long enough yesterday and today that I got rides in.

Weather finally cooperated for once so I was able to head into Des Moines to pick up some sodas of oat on my bike.  15 miles each way - just over 30 miles total. 

I took my GoPro but it ran out of juice not quite 1/2 way into the ride.  But here is what I do have....

Went out to Dyersville from Dubuque to pick up some Oktoberfest and one of the mugs.  They had .5 and 1 liter mugs there.  I went with the .5 since I didn't have room for the 1 liter mug in my bag.

It was pretty nice out for a ride.  I think I'll be sleeping good tonight.

Did a couple short rides around Elizabeth and Galena in NW Illinois.  In total I had about 11.73 miles today which isn't bad for a day after a long ass haul.  Pretty nice day for riding too.

I forgot to plug in Tuesday after getting home so I only had about 35% battery so it only lasted about 1/2 way through the trip.
