For helping to broker a peace deal between the United Arab Emirates and Israel. Maybe he'll win one this time.   :cheers:

I'm definitely a skeptic on these deals.  rather than a peace deal, it seems like they are shoring up the sunni side of the conflict against the shia side. I was much more impressed with the Iran Deal because whether one agreed with it or not it took courage. This just reaffirms the status quo

It's funny though, when even the anti-Trump New York Times can't argue the fact that the Trump Administration did a good thing here. It makes me laugh. If Matrix was here, he'd laugh too.

This is one time he won't win due to who votes on the winner.  People in Norway, on the whole, absolutely detest Trump on a personal and political level, and I can't imagine he'll get a majority vote win from the 5 voting members.  I don't think he'll even be a finalist. 

Honestly though, I'd actually agree with the quote - Trump deserves it more than Obama did.  I think it's important to keep perspective on political leaders, and not completely fall into partisanship.  The UAE and Israel normalizing relations is a good thing, regardless of who facilitated it.  Bush spearheading HIV/AIDS treatment in Africa was a good thing.  Every president is going to do some good and bad, even the ones you don't like.
