Beyond the Poseidon Adventure (1979)
The Swarm (1978)
Jaws: The Revenge (1987)

growing up i liked Jaws 4 but i haven't seen it in years so who knows what i'd think of it now.

you can add Shock to the system (1990)

Hannah and her sisters  (1986)

Mona Lisa (1986)

Ashanti (1979)
The Island (1980) those 2 i haven't seen yet.  The Swarm he if i recall considers his worst film and it's like Really ? he's done far worse

I bought JAWS 4 dvd cheap recently. probably not seen it since the 90s? can't believe some of the one-liners he comes out with. proper cheese-fest

the funniest thing from that entire movie is simply the reason why Caine even did it!  he did it cause he wanted to build himself a house and well he did with the money he was paid for appearing in it. and as he would later say and it's a nice house too

similar to why Betsy Palmer agreed to FRIDAY 13TH, she wanted a new car... assumed the film itself would be forgotten in 6 months

The Wilby Conspiracy is his worst.

HANNAH AND HER SISTERS is a GREAT film.

The Island (1980) was pretty bad as I recall.

The Last Witch Hunter (2015) with Vin Diesel was fun.  Bad, maybe, but fun.  Caine's role was relatively brief, but essential.

It was actually worse than that. Waste of my pocket money.

I forgot about The Eagle Has Landed: wonderful book, terrible cinema adaptation.

I wrote one of my "dumb film" reviews for that one.  I remember you pointed out the same then and it must be 10 years ago...

To answer you question, that'd be it.  It is SO bad, I watched not too long ago at TCM and enjoyed it like a nauseating bonbon.

i guess we can agree to disagree about Hannah & Her sisters (1986) i watched it on TCM years ago and i thought it was one of the worst movies i've ever seen in my life. wonderful cast & well acted film and good directing but the script was just plain awful. it was on TCM just the other night i think it was ? i watched a few minutes of it and i was right away bored again.

i haven't seen all of Caine's film like i don[t think Alfie (1966) is that great of a film it's not among his worst cause it's a meh film. and there are a couple more big movies that were huge for him that i thought were meh and forgettable films but many others love.  The Last Witch Hunter while not among his best films but i enjoyed the hell out of it. apparently they are working on a sequel and that one i would love to see
