I gave this a re watch not long ago: it had a troubled release in SA with the censors getting their scissors into it.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

I have never even heard of it. Now I have to see it.

The Burgomaster

Live and Let Die is an extremely derogatory novel. I understand it was written in a different time . . . but it's clear how Fleming felt about . . . things. I don't think he had mean-spirited intentions (but maybe he did). But some of the off-hand statements he makes definitely jump off the page when you read them in 2020.
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

I don't know what it means either, but Easyrider magazine used the term a lot!
