What's your favorite? What's your worst?

Goblin's score for DEEP RED is excellent!
Here they are playing live on Italian TV!

Goblin put out great soundtracks.  Sometimes they helped save an otherwise terrible movie.

One of the worst IMHO:
REPOSSESSED
Error 404 (Not Found)!!1

Also awful:
DON'T GO IN THE WOODS
Dafuq?
Error 404 (Not Found)!!1
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

My favourites are Halloween and The Omen. The main themes for them are both in their own ways iconic. Most of the time though I feel a score should be subtle almost to the point of you don't notice it, but it still has an effect on you.

Here's one of my favorites- and I'm not joking.

PSYCHED BY THE 4-D WITCH (1973)  by Joe Bisko! He did the music for this movie, and produced an early porn in 1966 called DINGLE DANGLE .
Anyway- I like the only music he seems to have ever done for a movie. And what a movie! Leave your sanity at the curb!

When I first saw it ( I bought it on vhs in 1995 from Something Weird) I was sober. I turned it off. 10 years later I watched it while smoking a bowl. Genius! Expanded my mind...ya know...in a good way!
Not in any kinda useful way-but a  good way!  :drink:

^ That 4-D Witch music is... not great.  Amusing, though.

I own this Soundtrack, which I love, cobbled together from music in the can (for movies like TEENAGERS FROM SPACE) one only needs the first couple of minutes to hear the "theme":

CARNIVAL OF SOULS is another soundtrack I own and love.  The organ music is GENE MOORE whom no one seems to know anything about.  Here are the awesome titles and theme music :

This trailer is MISERABLE but one can hear bits of the organ music which is the heart of the movie :

I've always liked Richard Harvey's score for House of the Long Shadows.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

zombie no.one

the only movie score I currently own on CD is NEW YORK RIPPER... surprisingly melodic and laid back score for such a scuzzy sleazy movie. it was only released on CD recently

agree with Goblin's score for DEEP RED. some dark weird funky stuff on that. and their more synthy electro type stuff on TENEBRAE is really good imo

My favorite horror movie soundtrack is THE WICKER MAN---though it's not scary music.

Others I like: CARNIVAL OF SOULS, SUSPIRIA, VAMPYR.

And if you consider these horror, I like them too: A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, NAKED LUNCH, TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME, UNDER THE SKIN.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Cheesy goodness!
I wanna do this for karaoke someday.

I would consider them horror movies.

I would also the 1954 GODZILLA to be a horror film.
