I Spit on your Grave is one of those movies that it's both good and bad, but the baggage with it makes it uncomfortable. I would put an asterisk by it for the list, maybe as an honorable mention.
yeah no.

I don't care if Marlon Brando is in the scenes before or after half an hour of a woman being brutally victimized.
It's useless. It's not in any way entertaining, and I will not give any more written space on this piece of s**t.
Though I just did... :bluesad:

Another film that would be on my 'worst' list is BLOODSUCKING FREAKS (1976).
Not because it's disturbing, just because it's boring and stupid.
I had it on vhs. I dunno what happened to it. I think I just gave it to someone. And I paid money for it! In a nice clamshell box about 25 years ago! Waste of money I could have spent on whiskey or dog food.
And I didn't even have a dog!
Bloodsucking Freaks will always have a special place in my heart.  Back in my military days, it was one of my go-to movies to show friends.   It wasn't because I liked it, it was just because it tended to get a reaction out of people.  That kinda cemented my status as the guy that had just really weird taste in movies.

Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things got a similar reaction out of people, although it wasn't nearly as enjoyable.

I actually enjoyed LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. Mostly because of David Hess.
it's weird, David Hess plays more or less the same character in that as he does in HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK and HITCH HIKE but for some reason I can't stand him in those 2 films, but I like him in LAST HOUSE...

That's because HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK is just plain dumb.  The other must be comparable.
dumb, maybe... but LAST HOUSE is not exactly a conceptual brain-stretching excercise either. his character in it just seems to work better imo

HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK didn't work for me, either.
No chainsaw revenge, maybe?

haha, maybe...

I put off checking it out until I knew that I was watching the fully uncut version.. and was then amazed at how tame it was

The important distinction is HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK  is   just   plain   dumb.

It almost sounds like you put in BLOODSUCKING FREAKS if you want your friends to leave...

Bloodsucking Freaks also has a special place in my heart. It was the most deranged movie at my local video store growing up.

The same director also made "the Career Bed" which is awesome

kornula

Is CAREER BED the Harvey Wienstien story?

lester1/2jr

Kornula - basically

also can't forget She freak with its real time shots of people setting up circus tents because that's just so fascinating

SHE FREAK  kinda reminds me of Hatchetface in CRYBABY (the John Waters movie)

Granted, I re watched it tonight.. so it's fresh on my mind.
