When I posted my tuna pizza to FB most of my american friends were stunned

and thought it was a joke. Tuna pizza is a thing and has been around in Europe for ages. Kinda falls into the sea food pizza category. A quick search shows me that tuna pizza can be had in the U.S., either fresh or frozen.

Ever had a tuna pizza? If not, what was the most unusual pizza you ever had?

Alex

Not a fan of most types of fish so I can't say I've ever tried a tuna pizza. I do like a duck one though (and I have to say that the Rainbow Bar & Grill in LA made the best pizza I have ever tasted). I tend to buy a pizza from the shop and then add extra toppings to it, so when I feel creative you just never know what you are going to get.

Don't know that I would care for that, but I would try it.
In Japan I had shrimp pizza and cuttlefish pizza and enjoyed both.

I have not had it, & I do not want to.

I like pineapples and ham on pizza!
I like tuna in mac and cheese!
But on a pizza...I dunno...
I usually just like cheese. Soggy NYC style.

Depends on how the tuna is made. If it's stuff from the can then I wouldn't like it, but if it's fresh and seared then probably.
yeah no.

I had this one

of course theres more flakey tuna visible on the packaging. The actual pizza has little chunks of tuna that may look like sausage  :teddyr:

I'd try a slice, but the idea's not especially appealing. Better than cauliflower crust, though.

If it's frozen box pizza, with tuna fish-no. No way.
That would be like tossing salad on an old Italian fisherman.  :bluesad:
